I am thinking about our Christmas menu too... we'll be sharing our day with a vegetarian and cooking outdoors with minimal facilities and no fridge so it should be quite an adventure... I am thinking salad sandwiches might be nice!

It's one of the few meals I really enjoy cooking during the year.
Oh, and egg nog? ((shudder)) .... skeeves me out. I can't eat anything with raw eggs. It's a psychological thing.
Of course, I make an exception for cookie dough.

For Christmas dinner I still like to keep in simple and informal. My favorite is Honey Baked Ham (can't afford that this year though, will have to get a cheaper ham), mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans w/ onions and those cheap and unhealthy dinner rolls.
